Dr.G since you are a physician, is makeup your hobby or side hustle?

No, it is not a hobby nor a side hustle, it is my life. I have fused my passion for health and beauty to create a Medical Spa, Serenity Aesthetics and Wellness located in Mount Airy, Philadelphia. There I empower women via. beauty, wellness, and self-care. Consequently, take a look at a recent project in which I made up  Breast Cancer Survivors and they were able to get their photographs taken.

What type of makeup do you use?

We use high-end makeup products, quality grade brushes, and luxury lighting equipment (specifically made for makeup artists,) that works best with, as well as complements your wedding photographer’s lighting.

How do I pick a makeup look that suits me best?

Do your research: look at movies and magazines, specifically for people who have a similar style and facial structure as yours.  In addition, consider a look that complements the style and theme of your wedding, then save those images and email them to Gina.

Do I need a bridal makeup trial and if so why?

A resounding yes! At the bridal trial, we discuss what you want and how that particular look will suit you best. We then make up your face so that you can see exactly what you will look like on your wedding day.

What’s the difference between doing the makeup myself, using a friend, a bridesmaid, or a Professional Makeup Artist Team?

As a Professional Makeup Artist my team and I:

• Use the industry’s best makeup and makeup tools.
• We have years of experience.
• We know the correct type of light in regards to color temperature, intensity, and position to use in order to complement the wedding photographer’s camera, lighting techniques, and style.
• We also know where to set you up in the room, during bridal prep to maximize the photographer’s chances of capturing great photographs.
• We know how to give you a great experience and also make your family and wedding party feel comfortable.
• We offer full-day service, so we can touch up your makeup throughout the day; therefore, you don’t have to depend on a bridesmaid or guest who wishes to dance and enjoy the reception.

Do you travel out of state and overseas for weddings?

Most certainly we love international weddings and out-of-town weddings. We have traveled across North America and the Caribbean for clients. For overseas and out-of-town travel, the cost of lodging and travel is added to your package, then submitted for you for your approval.
