16 Apr Flawless Foundation Using the Beauty Blender
Beauty blenders are the latest crave for flawless foundation application. It is a non-disposable makeup sponge applicator designed to apply your makeup flawlessly. It can be used to apply loose powders, mineral pigments, and eyeshadow to name a few. The beauty blender comes in a neat package which can be used as a pedestal to dry it on once cleaned.
I love using the beauty blender when applying lighter coverage foundation on clients. The small tip of the beauty blender is great to apply foundation and/or concealer (in a stippling/dabbing motion) in small to reach places of the face (ie. corner of eye, under eye, around nose). It applies smoother (and more evenly) than brushes, and provides a semi-dewy airbrush finish.
What I love most about the beauty blender: It’s eco-friendly! Beauty blenders can be cleaned using blendercleanser (shown below) or any clarifying soap. I use Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint soap to clean my beauty blenders. A little goes a long way with these soaps.
For my sensitive skin beauties: the beauty blender is latex-free and hypoallergenic. For my smart shoppers: the beauty blender can last up to 4 months if you take good care of it. There are several knock off versions of the beauty blender that work just as well. Always remember, for best results, clean your beauty blender after each use. 🙂
