Hey  beauties,

As part of breast cancer awareness month, I had the pleasure of participating in the Pink Panthers Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch, in Brooklyn, New York. I spoke to the audience from a physician standpoint about my encounters with breast cancer patients, then made the connection with being a makeup artist who provides makeup services for breast cancer survivors; ultimately sharing the Dr. G mission, “because every woman should feel as good as she looks!”

This was an amazing event planned by GIST Productions and the Pink Panthers honoring breast cancer survivors and supporters with a day of celebration, hope, and beauty. The aspects of the event aimed at Women’s Empowerment through sharing of stories, education, Q & A Trivia, and mini make overs provided by Dr. G Makeup Artist Team. Not to mention, the delectable dishes provided by the Pink Panthers and sweet treats by GIST Productions. Here is a recap of the event 🙂

At the end of the brunch, Pink Panther, Mrs. D.F. Bland led the attendees in a pledge encouraging self-love, positive thinking, and retraining our minds to know that we are deserving of inner peace.

It was a beautiful, fun and empowering day for the women in attendance and volunteering. But most importantly, this event raised money for a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.  I am honored to have been part of such an event, caring about raising money for a cure for Breast Cancer.
