Hey Beauties,

I had a really long shift last night filled with admissions and medicine activity. With that said, my face is in need of some pampering, since I only had 2 hours of sleep, and have not washed my faced since yesterday morning! [Gross, cringe]

Once I got home I reached for 2 of my staple cleansers from Artistry Essentials Cosmetics.

First, I start by rubbing the Artistry Essentials Polishing Scrub into my face and neck using my Beauty Control exfoliating brush. I use a circular motion to help left dead skin cells and dirt that fester into the face during the day and over night. This scrub acts a cleanser and exfoliator in one, fostering rejuvenated skin. The Polishing Scrub contains jojoba beads which also help lift dead skin cells. Jojoba is a plant native to North America, and provides great benefits to skin:

  • Jojoba carries anti-inflammatory properties which is essential to treating acne-related skin problems
  • Jojoba’s oil is similar to our skin’s sebum, so it acts as a skin-softening moisturizer
  • Jojoba’s anti-bacterial properties aid in treating skin infections and health ailments

After massaging the polishing scrub into my face,  I rinse with cool water and pat dry with a towel.

I then apply the Artistry Essentials Pore Cleansing Mask to my face and neck, for the ultimate deep cleanse. This mask is especially popular for its active component: Clay! Clay is an important medicinal and cosmetic tool which has been utilized by many for centuries by women such as Queen Cleopatra and Queen Nefertiti.

Similar to Jojoba, Clay provides great benefits to skin:

  • Clay extracts extra oils and impurities from the surface of skin
  • Clay has amazing drawing power, great for cleaning out and opening pores
  • Clay increases blood circulation in the skin, which aids in the healing process (from acne and other skin ailments)

Once I have applied the Pore Cleansing Mask, I wait 5 minutes, then rinse with cool water and pat dry with towel.

This winning combination has never failed me. I’m rewarded with rejuvenated, glowing skin, and ready to save lives the next day.
