Renee O.’s Trinidadian-Nigerian Wedding

Renee O.’s Trinidadian-Nigerian Wedding

Hey Beauties,

Do you remember Renee? The classy bride to be whose bridal trial was featured on the blog last fall? Well, her big day finally came, and I had a blast being part of the bridal party makeup prep. Renee’s wedding was unique because she and her bridal party celebrated both of her cultures (Nigerian and Trinidadian). There were dress changes, and head wrap (Gele) application. Here is a photo journey of the wedding makeup preparation with Renee and her bridal party.

I love a group who knows how to have a good time and keep the bride smiling.

BH Cosmetics 88 Eye Shadow Palette provides a variety of highly pigmented shades of pink that “pop” on Renee’s eyelids.

Bridesmaids in Gele (traditional head wrap) and Aso Ebi (traditional dress). Notice their glow is holding strong after 12 hours of makeup application 🙂

Renee  had an amazing wedding ceremony from start to finish. I especially enjoyed our quiet time in the bridal suite where we chatted about life and being a woman. It’s moments like this that make my job complete because I can connect with my client. It’s more than just makeup, it’s an experience. For more pics of Renee, check out my Bridal Portfolio. 🙂
